Well done Gremlin Bashers!

Well done Gremlin Bashers!

We would like to say a big ‘well done’ to the Gremlin Bashers’ girls for completing the Race for Life at Swindon’s Lydiard Park on Sunday 1st June.

Sunday saw the Gremlin Bashers sport their team shirts and take on the 5km race in Swindon. The sun was shining across a sea of pink, with hundreds of participants taking part, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The Gremlin Bashers’ family and friends joined the ranks of many others supporting the women and children taking part in the race. No matter their fitness level; whether they ran, jogged or walked everyone made it across the finish line.

Fascia Graphics® are extremely proud to have supported and sponsored such a fantastic team, doing so much to raise money for such an important cause.  But it’s not over yet; the Gremlin Bashers are hosting a virtual horse racing event at the Jenny Wren in Calne, on the 14th June, where they hope boost their already impressive total raised of £4,000 to their £5,000 target. They are looking for local companies to sponsor each race (8 in total), if you are interested contact Louise Currie at [email protected]

If you want to show your support for the Gremlin Bashers you can find their Just Giving page here.

Here’s what Fascia Graphics® Graphic Designer and Gremlin Bashers Team Member, Louise Dolman had to say about the day:

“The weather was good. The heat certainly made it challenging, but it was the atmosphere and support throughout the run that was brilliant, and made it all worthwhile.  I can’t explain how I felt crossing the finish line, words can't describe it. Just proud and a great feeling of achievement, as I have done my bit to help towards the research, and find a cure for all those people suffering and having to live everyday with Cancer!”

On the face of it, a product label serves the simple purpose of telling you what the product is. That information might extend to safety and regulatory information, as required in the territory where the product will be sold, but this would be a rather dry description of what a label can do.
