Why being ISO 9001:2008 and UL accredited is important?

As a sign of its quality, Fascia Graphics® is both ISO 9001:2008 accredited and accredited with the Underwriters Laboratories’ UL PGDQ2 to UL969 standardisation and PGAA status.

But what does that mean for our customers?

ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) is an international standard that gives requirements for an organisation’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the UL Mark is the most widely recognised safety certification mark in the world. In short, it means our customers can expect high quality and standards with every Fascia Graphics® product and service.

ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation

ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. The standards give state of the art specifications for products, services and good practice, helping to make industry more efficient and effective. For businesses they are strategic tools that reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors and increasing productivity.

ISO accreditation is given by an external certification body after the company has gone through two types of auditing: an external audit carried out by the external certification body and an internal audit carried out by internal staff trained for this process.

UL PGDQ2 to UL969 Standardisation & PGAA Accreditation

UL is a global independent safety science company, who innovate safety solutions. From public adoption of electricity to new breakthroughs in sustainability, renewable energy and nanotechnology – UL is one of several companies approved by the US Federal Agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to perform safety testing.

UL accreditation is given after UL certifies, validates, tests, inspects, audits, and advises and trains those seeking UL accreditation. There are currently 104 countries with UL customers.
